90 children, between the ages of 1 and 5 years with bilateral spastic cerebral palsy, hip adductor spasticity and scissoring postures, were randomized to be managed with botulinum toxin injection followed by hip brace or a conservative approach. At 3 years, the combined treatment showed minimal benefit in management of spastic hip displacement and hence was not a recommended treatment.
