143 patients who were scheduled to undergo arthroscopic partial meniscectomy were randomized to receive either the novel OMS103HP irrigation solution or control (lactated Ringerâ€™s). The results from 90 day follow up indicated that patients who received the novel irrigation solution displayed significantly less post-operative pain, improved function, and knee motion.
