ACE Reports and Other Products
Q What is an ACE Report?
The Advanced Clinical Evidence (ACE) Report is a critical summary of the important details from a selected publication that assess both quality and the potential for bias. The report contains a synopsis, the principle research question, study groups, methods, outcome measures, important findings and their implications for the medical/allied health community.

Q What is the "Risk of Bias" score?
The "Risk of Bias" score is a critical appraisal which assesses the potential for bias in the trial based on ten standardized questions. These questions assess the randomization process, blinding of investigators, assessors and patients, objectivity of outcome measures, sample size, and experience of researchers in that field.

Q What is the reporting score?
The "Reporting Score" is a critical appraisal which assesses various parts of the study's reporting quality. The score is a modified Detsky Score which covers 5 reporting quality areas: Randomization, Outcome Measurements, Inclusion/Exclusion, Therapy Description, and Statistics.

Q Can I view the original publication from which the ACE Report was generated?
OrthoEvidence provides a link in the ACE Report to the journal of each publication. Users can then access the original publication using their institutional/individual subscription to each journal. If the article is from an open access journal, the full original paper will be linked.

Q What currency am I billed in?
Our billing currency for Canadian customers is Canadian Dollars (CAD). All other customers will be billed in US Dollars (USD).

Q How do I access my payment history?
To access your payment history click "My Account". On the left hand side underneath your profile picture there is a link to "Billing".

Q How do I receive a receipt for my subscription?
Click on a transaction while viewing your payment history to open a tab with your downloadable receipt.

You will be billed once per month.
