Synopsis
60 patients scheduled for total shoulder arthroplasty were randomized to either immediate or delayed mobilization postoperatively. Patients were assessed for shoulder range of motion, clinical scores, and radiographic healing of the lesser tuberosity osteotomy over 12 month follow-up.
