Synopsis
87 patients with subacromial impingement syndrome were randomized to undergo either open acromioplasty (open group), arthroscopic acromioplasty (arthroscopic group), or physiotherapy (PT group). The purpose of this study was to compare the aformentioned treatments in terms of Constant scores, Watson and Sonabend scores, and SF-36 health survey scores at 2 to 3 years post-treatment.
