Synopsis

Forty patients with lumbar spinal stenosis were randomized to either receive active salmon calcitonin nasal spray, or a placebo spray compare the efficacy of these treatments. The results at 4 weeks and at the end of the trial period (16 weeks) indicated that nasal salmon calcitonin spray did not have any treatment benefits for those with lumbar spinal stenosis, in terms of pain, function, and dis...
