Six randomized controlled trials were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis evaluating the use of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) in post-fracture management. Data from 3 studies on time to fracture healing was used to compare LIPUS- and placebo-treated groups through meta-analysis.
