Synopsis
74 patients undergoing arthroscopic rotator cuff repair were randomized to undergo the procedure with or without the application of platelet-rich plasma during surgery. Outcomes included functional scores and pain scores, along with imaging of repair integrity and cross-sectional area of the supraspinatus muscle.
