Synopsis
301 patients, over 50 years of age, with knee osteoarthritis, were randomized to receive either oral diacerein treatment (100mg/day) and 3 courses of intra-articular saline injections, oral placebo (100mg/day) and 3 courses of intra-articular saline injections, or oral placebo (100mg/day) and 3 courses of intra-articular hyaluronic acid injections (NRD101).
