40 patients undergoing micro-fracture surgery for osteochondral lesions (OCLs) of the talus were randomized to 1 of 3 injection therapy groups: the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) group, hyaluronic acid (HA) group, or control group, who received a saline injection.
