Synopsis

716 Japanese and Taiwanese patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were randomized to either oral edoxaban 30mg or subcutaneous enoxaparin 2000IU for 11-14 days after surgery. The purpose of this study was to compare efficacy and safety of edoxaban to that of enoxaparin. Venous thromboembolic events and bleeding outcomes were assessed for 25-35 days after the last administration of study drug....
