Synopsis
64 adult patients with plantar fasciitis (for atleast 6 weeks) were randomized to either receive an autologous blood injection or a corticosteroid injection. The results indicate that both groups demonstrated a reduction in pain and tenderness over the 6 month period, though patients who received the corticosteroid injection showed a quicker and greater improvement than the autologous blood group....
