Synopsis
336 adult patients with an acute displaced or nondisplaced unilateral distal radial fracture were randomized to receive a 500 mg Vitamin C or placebo capsule daily for 50 days after the fracture. The purpose of this trial was to determine if the oral administration of Vitamin C after distal radius fracture improves functional outcomes.
