Synopsis

Twenty-two patients with chronic patellar tendinopathy were randomized to receive either an autologous blood injection (ABI) or saline injection to the patellar tendon. Participants were followed-up for 12 months thereafter using the McGill Pain Questionnaire and Victorian Institute of Sport Assessment (VISA) scale.
