Synopsis

63 patients undergoing arthroscopic acromioplasty were randomized to receive suprascapular nerve blocks (SNB) via one of three different techniques. Patients were allocated to receive an ultrasonography-guided (UG), electrophysiology-guided (EG), or blind (using anatomical landmarks) SNB.
