114 patients were randomized to compare the clinical outcomes of corticosteroid injection (CSI) versus local anesthetic injection (LAI) for lateral epicondylitis. The CSI group received methylprednisolone 1 ml while the LAI group received procaine 1 ml 2% in a single dose.
