Synopsis
60 patients with chronic lateral epicondylitis were randomized to receive injections of either platelet-rich plasma, saline, or glucocorticoid, in order to compare the impact of the injections on pain. Following assessments over a 3 month period, the results displayed that 1 injection of platelet-rich plasma and glucocorticoid provided similar pain reduction to those lateral epicondylitis patients...
