8 RCTs (1136 patients) were reviewed in this meta-analysis to compare the effectiveness and safety of posterior (PLIF) or anterior (ALIF) interbody fusions to posterolateral spinal fusion in the surgical treatment of patients with lumbar-sacral spondylosis.
