68 patients with full-thickness crescent-shaped tear of the supraspinatus that was repaired using a transosseous equivalent suture-bridge technique along with subacromial decompression were randomized to undergo passive elevation and rotation that began on postoperative day 2 or passive elevation and rotation that began on postoperative week 6.
