Synopsis
41 patients with plantar heel pain were randomized to receive treatment involving stretching of the plantar fascia, calcaneal taping, sham taping, or no treatment. After 1 week, patients were scored on pain and level of functioning. Results indicated that the calcaneal taping group experienced significantly less pain than any other group.
