Synopsis
102 patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA) and 85 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) were randomized to receive one of three different methods for wound closure. The primary outcome was the development of wound complications. Results indicated that the 3 methods had comparable outcomes.
