Synopsis
126 adult patients with severe hip joint arthritis were randomized to receive either total hip arthroplasty or hip resurfacing arthroplasty. Results from 12 month follow-up indicated that there were no significant differences between the two groups in regards to hip function, Harris Hip Score, and Oxford Hip Score.
