Synopsis
42 patients, presenting with 2-tendon rotator cuff tears >3cm, were randomized to an arthroscopic treatment with or without augmentation using acellular dermal matrix augmentation. Results from an average of 24 month follow-up indicate that both repair methods produced significant improvements from baseline.
