Synopsis

One hundred and forty one patients undergoing primary TKA were randomized to receive perioperative intravenous tranexamic acid (IV-TXA) alone (n=48), IV TXA followed by oral TXA for 2 days (2D, n=46) or oral TXA for 5 days (5D, n=47).
