Synopsis
Sixty patients undergoing a thoracolumbar decompressive spinal surgery were randomized to receive an intra-operative erector spinae block (n=30) or no block (n=30). The primary outcome of interest was the Quality of Recovery 15 (QoR-15) at 24 hours post-operation. Secondary outcomes included pain scores and opioid consumption.
