Synopsis

One hundred and thirty six patients undergoing TKA were randomized to perform active-heel slides (n=68) or continuous passive motion (n=68) during inpatient rehabilitation. Outcomes of interest included pain, the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) knee score, functional activity scores range of motion and knee joint proprioception.
