Synopsis
Ninety six patients undergoing hip arthroscopy were randomized to receive a perioperative anterior quadratus lumborum block (n=48) or no block (n=48). Outcomes of interest included postoperative pain scores, patient satisfaction, opioid consumption, quadriceps strength and adverse events.
