Synopsis
Ninety-six patients scheduled to undergo a primary, unilateral total hip arthroplasty (THA) were randomized to receive daily doses of 60 mg of oral duloxetine (n=48) or placebo (starch; n=48) at 2 days pre-surgery until 14 days post-surgery.
