Synopsis
156 patients with dislocated distal radius fractures were randomized to receive surgical treatment with a volar locking plate (VLP) or external fixation (EF). The primary outcome interest was the Patient-Rated Wrist and Hand Evaluation (PRWHE) score. Radiographic outcomes included volar tilt, radial inclination, radial length, and ulnar variance.
