Synopsis

65 patients with chronic abdominal pain following surgery or due to chronic pancreatitis were randomized to receive delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or placebo for 50-52 days. The primary outcome was pain relief, as measured by a visual analogue scale (VAS).
